Lighting Technician

Lighting Technician (3-Day Shoot | PBS Travel Series) We are hiring a Lighting Technician for a 3-day shoot on a nationally distributed PBS travel series, Love Eat Travel with Michelle Valentine. This is a lean, professional production team filming primarily outdoors across scenic locations, with select indoor setups at featured venues. We are looking for someone who is confident working with natural light and can elevate scenes with minimal, efficient lighting setups.

What You'll Do:

Bring and operate your own compact lighting package Shape and enhance natural light for outdoor filming Light indoor scenes for clean, polished on-camera interviews and segments Use diffusers and modifiers to maintain a soft, natural look Work closely with the Director of Photography in a fast-moving environment

Project Details:

3 shoot days Approx. 8-hour days On-location (travel-style production)

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced with documentary, lifestyle, or travel productions Comfortable moving quickly between locations and setups Owns reliable, portable lighting gear and diffusion tools Professional, positive, and easy to work with on a small team

Compensation:
