Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lighting Technician to join our team and bring vibrant, safe, and efficient lighting solutions to a variety of industrial and commercial environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical lighting systems, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes. Your expertise will help create visually compelling spaces while adhering to rigorous safety protocols and technical specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your electrical skills in fast-paced construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial projects, driving innovation and excellence in lighting solutions. This is a piece price paid job, and Per Diem is covered Duties Install, connect, and configure lighting fixtures and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Basic troubleshoot on electrical issues Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute lighting plans Maintain low voltage and high voltage wiring in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and reliability Use hand tools and power tools effectively related to mounting and securing lighting fixtures Operate heavy machinery (Scissor Lift & Boom Lifts) Conduct routine inspections of electrical connections and lighting fixtures on construction sites or event venues Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and leads to coordinate installation schedules and ensure seamless project execution Traveling is a requirement- typically 3 weeks on the road 1 week home Valid Driver's License Experience Proven experience asLighting Technician. Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints related to lighting systems. Skilled in diagnosing electrical faults using testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and testers for low voltage and high voltage circuits. Demonstrated ability to perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely on construction sites or industrial facilities. Construction site experience with a focus on electrical installation projects involving complex lighting solutions. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures including lockout/tagout practices to prevent accidents during maintenance or repair work.
