We are a leading manufacturer in electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical assemblies, celebrating over 75 years of outstanding engineering and design. We have a diversified product line that includes PCB assemblies, prototypes, electronic modules, LED lighting, switches, resistors, sensors and HVAC controls. We have a job opportunity for a
SMT LINE TECHNICIAN/SUPERVISOR
at our corporate office location in Northbrook, IL. We offer a benefits package including 401(k) with company contribution, medical, dental and life insurance, and paid time off. We appreciate talent and negotiate salary based on qualifications and experience. Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Responsibilities o Set up, program, and monitor SMT equipment. o Perform daily production support. o Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime. o Ensure quality standards are met through inspections and quality checks. o Maintain feeders and other tools used in the process. o Oversee the daily operations of SMT production lines. o Supervise and manage SMT technicians and operators. o Ensure production schedules are met and coordinate activities to achieve targets. o Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. o Ensure compliance with safety standards. Requirements o Proven experience as an SMT Technician in a manufacturing environment. o Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. o Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings. o High school diploma required. Education or certification in Engineering or related field preferred. o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. o Strong communication and organizational skills. o Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies.
EOE Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
