Commercial Lighting Technician Novum Industries Compensation $70,000 to $80,000 Annually (plus bonuses) Benefits Offered Medical, 401K, Dental, Vision Employment Type Full-Time We are currently seeking Lead Commercial Lighting Technicians to become an integral part of our team! You will retrofit commercial lighting fixtures at big-box retailers throughout the southeastern US. We are seeking both crew foremen and technicians.

Responsibilities:

Conduct/Supervise the replacement of fluorescent and HID lighting components, and/or fixtures, with LED technology. Conduct pre-installation site surveys of existing lighting systems, i.e., fixtures out or damaged, etc. Coordinate work with store personnel. Work with project managers and store managers to ensure smooth installations with minimal impact on store operations. ​

Qualifications:

Previous experience in commercial lighting and electrical repairs. Experience bending and installing EMT. Pulling and terminating electrical circuits. Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and bucket truck. Strong organizational and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and implement the latest in mobile work-order management platforms. Work projects requiring technicians to be both proactive and reactive. 75% travel required, 2-3 week max travel out of town and 1 week home per month working nights. Clean background and driving records required.
