The Role As a Field Technician , you will: Install, maintain, and service outdoor lighting systems Work at residential properties across Michigan Start as an Assistant and progress into leadership roles Receive full training from day one — no experience required Your Career Path Assistant — Day 1 | $18/hr Complete onboarding, orientation, and safety training Shadow experienced technicians on live jobs Learn truck setup, tools, and job site procedures Technician — Weeks 1-2 | $20/hr Master truck load-up and daily checklists Certified in landscape and permanent holiday lighting installation Complete Field Tech Training Course Begin earning production bonuses Senior Technician — Weeks 3-4 | $22/hr Complete advanced training (Level 2) Certified in bistro lighting installation Hit performance and callback targets Earn your first 5-star review by name Crew Leader — Weeks 5-8 | 5% Commission Complete Crew Leader Training Certified in Christmas lighting installation Lead crews on live jobs Generate $500+ in upsells Earn $500 milestone bonus Senior Crew Leader — Ongoing | 5% Commission Certified across all 4 service lines Generate $1,500+ in upsells Lead and mentor team members Run jobs independently start to finish Earn $500 bonus + annual retention bonus Path to management roles Our Service Lines Permanent Holiday Lighting Landscape Lighting Bistro Lighting Christmas Lighting What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Physically able to climb ladders, lift equipment, and work on rooftops Strong attention to detail — installs must be clean and precise Team player with strong communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation No experience required ( we train everything ) Background in landscaping, electrical, or construction is a plus What You'll Do Install all Maxteriors lighting systems Load and maintain truck, tools, and equipment Deliver high-quality installations every time Communicate professionally with homeowners Identify upsell opportunities Maintain clean, organized job sites

Compensation Assistant:

$18/hr

Technician:

$20/hr + bonuses

Senior Technician:

$22/hr + bonuses

Crew Leader:

5% commission on all jobs

Senior Crew Leader:
