Responsibilities Safely install holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties, following detailed instructions while using safety procedures properly Use electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to ensure proper wiring and system functionality Following detailed drawings to accurately position lights, timers, and extension cords Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of lighting equipment and electrical components during installation and removal if necessary Operate heavy equipment or mechanical tools safely when needed for mounting or dismantling large displays Remove holiday lighting displays efficiently after the season concludes, ensuring no damage to property or equipment Maintain detailed records of work performed, including technical diagnostics, repairs, and installation notes Qualifications Mechanical knowledge related to mounting hardware, extension cords, timers, and electrical components Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics or ability to operate mechanical tools safely Prior experience with maintenance, repair, and operations tasks in an outdoor setting Proficiency with technical tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices Strong attention to detail and safety protocols when working at heights or around electrical systems Ability to interpret technical instructions clearly and follow safety guidelines diligently This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in Exterior Lighting while spreading holiday joy.
