As a Head Lounge Stage Technician, you'll lead daily audio-visual operations within the venue to deliver high-quality entertainment experiences for artists and guests. You'll coordinate technical staff, support production activities, and serve as the primary onsite audio-visual contact for performances and events while maintaining hands-on responsibility for technical execution. As the ideal candidate, you're technically skilled, dependable, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting exceptional live entertainment experiences. Coordinate daily onsite production activities for performances and events. Serve as the AV point of-contact for technical staff, venue leadership, artists, and performers. Provide stage direction as needed and oversee equipment load-in, setup, operation, teardown, and load-out. Operate, and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and backline systems during performances and events. Provide backup support to stage managers and technical operators as needed Review production requirements and confirm performance information to ensure technical readiness, accurate event execution, and successful support of house bands and visiting artists. Ensure all equipment is operated safely and in accordance with company, manufacturer, and industry standards throughout load-in, event operations, and load-out. Lead technical staff in preventative maintenance and repair of audio/visual/lighting equipment and media equipment. Coordinate break schedules and daily assignments for AV tech staff to ensure appropriate coverage and operational readiness. Develop and maintain productive relationships with artists, production vendors, and service providers to support successful events and venue operations. Communicate and uphold corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education High school diploma or equivalent required Experience 4+ years' experience working as audio, lighting, or video engineer for a national touring act, production vendor/supplier, performance venue, and/or hotel AV department Hands-on experience required with equipment repair procedures and maintenance Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of music, acoustics, stage lighting, and video engineering is required Ability to interface with management and clients Licenses / Certifications Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required Non-Gaming Work Permit Card required upon hire This position requires a pre-employment drug screening (4-panel: phencyclidine, cocaine, amphetamines, and opiates). Physical Requirements Speak and hear to communicate and use both near and far vision. Stand and walk for extended periods. Occasionally climb, sit, kneel, bend, steps up/down and reach above shoulder. Regularly traverse stairs and walk on uneven terrain, often while carrying product Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. May occasionally be required to team-lift over 50 lbs. Continually use gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Working Conditions Restaurant/bar/live music environments, indoors and outdoors, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
