Requirements Primary Job Responsibilities:
Work with Director and Production Manager to identify what equipment needs pulled and prep'd according to upcoming events Ability to look at upcoming calendar to prioritize prep/pull Make sure all equipment going out is in proper working order Test, address and label all fixtures before leaving shop Repair cable, fixtures and other equipment as needed and as assigned Identify and label any equipment that needs repairs Ability to work within inventory system to scan in, scan out equipment and double check pull sheets and manifest are 100% complete May need to drive van or 26' box truck Clean Driving record Ability to work under hard deadlines May need to work after scheduled hours, holidays and weekends to make sure equipment gets to where it needs to be and in proper working order
Primary Skillset Required:
Ability to plan workflow accordingly Basic understanding of entertainment lighting production equipment and functionality 6 months to 1 year of experience working with entertainment lighting systems a plus Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a time-sensitive warehouse Team player, willing to drive cargo vans, straight trucks, willingness to learn, not afraid to ask questions and has a passion to understand and gain knowledge Availability to work overtime during peak seasons Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to spend up to 100% of shop time standing or moving. Physical activities include frequent use of hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and or reaching regularly Fork lift and scissor lift training required (NPi can supply) Join the Team
