Full Job Description SUMMARY:
In this role the candidate is expected to take a lead role within our Project Team, specifically, our lighting department. You will manage inbound requests from customers to meet their lighting needs by offering complete bid packages. This position allows for paid training with unlimited growth potential, providing the tools and resources for you to reach your desired goals and objectives. You will have the opportunity to make sales calls and to establish a level of partnership with both customers and vendors while surrounded by a highly motivated team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
GED or equivalent education Efficient with Microsoft Office Ability to commute to and work in person at our location Lighting industry experience 1 year minimum
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Ability to multi-task and have outstanding communication skills Ability to work in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the field of electrical construction, electrical sales, electrical distribution, or other wholesale experience A degree from a four-year institution Experience with lighting design software
WORKING CONDITIONS
Can be in person or a remote position Some overnight travel may be required for sales events and training opportunities Some daily travel required to visit customer job-sites or facilities for walk-through requests

Handle incoming customer requests for lighting, sales, ordering, and project status Generate and read reports to identify material status and estimated ship, receipt, and release dates and convey the information efficiently Request quotations from our lighting partners, read and match specifications to jobs, presenting bids to electrical contractors Generate Purchase Orders Assist the receiving team when potential issues arise such as damaged incoming freight promptly notifying vendors and address those issues Travel for training events, customer relation entertainment events, and to and from local jobsites
