Position Overview:
Six Flags Over Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Lighting Specialist to oversee lighting operations for assigned shows and venues. This role is responsible for executing lighting design, programming cues, and leading a team of entry-level technicians in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This is a part-time role that works on average 29 hours or less and pays $19/hour.Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in live lighting (theater, concerts, events, or themed entertainment)
- Proficiency with lighting consoles (ETC, GrandMA, or similar)
- Strong understanding of DMX systems and fixture types
- Leadership ability and strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience programming full shows or cue stacks
- Familiarity with moving lights, LED systems, and effects lighting
- Experience working in outdoor or themed environments
