  • FM Electronics is one of the leading retailers and authorized repair centers for professional audio, DJ equipment, stage lighting, and live event technology.
We proudly serve musicians, DJs, churches, production companies, rental houses, and entertainment venues across the United States. We're looking for an experienced Electronics Technician who enjoys diagnosing complex electronic problems and performing high-quality repairs on professional equipment. If you're passionate about electronics, music technology, and solving technical challenges, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities As an Electronics Technician, you will: Diagnose and repair professional audio equipment Troubleshoot DJ controllers, CDJs, mixers, media players, and turntables Repair powered speakers, power amplifiers, digital mixers, wireless systems, and signal processors Diagnose and repair professional stage lighting including moving heads, LED fixtures, lasers, strobes, haze/fog machines, and DMX equipment Perform component-level PCB repairs, including soldering and replacing electronic components Read schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation Perform testing, calibration, firmware updates, and quality control inspections Document repairs and maintain accurate service records Work with the service and sales team to provide technical support when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on electronics repair experience Experience repairing professional audio, DJ equipment, or stage lighting Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Understanding of analog and digital electronics Ability to identify failed electronic components Experience using: Digital multimeters Oscilloscopes Soldering and hot-air rework stations Power supplies Signal generators Ability to read wiring diagrams and electronic schematics Excellent attention to detail Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
