Part-Time Position Summary:
The Worship Media Technician is responsible for operating and monitoring audio/visual production equipment during Sunday morning worship services. This position plays an important role in supporting the worship experience by ensuring that visual and media elements operate smoothly and consistently throughout each service. This position offers guaranteed weekly hours with a flexible schedule , opportunities for future pay increases , and the potential for additional hours as special events and church activities arise . The Worship Media Technician position has also served as a valuable stepping stone for individuals pursuing careers in professional production, providing hands-on experience with lighting, video, presentation systems, and other live production technologies. Primary Responsibilities Operate and monitor church production equipment during Sunday morning worship services. Operate lighting control systems and lighting computers. Operate ProPresenter and other presentation/media software. Monitor visual and presentation elements throughout services and respond to issues as they arise. Assist with the setup and preparation of production equipment prior to services. Communicate with pastors, worship leaders, musicians, and other production team members as needed. Maintain a professional and attentive presence throughout the worship service. Assist with production needs during special events and other church activities when additional hours are available.
