Job Description

Rafi Law Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated production leader to oversee the people, schedules, projects, equipment, and daily systems behind its growing in-house Creative Studio. This position is less about being the most technical camera operator in the room and more about making sure the entire production operation works. The Director of Production & Studio Operations will organize projects, create structure, communicate expectations, remove bottlenecks, and help the creative team deliver high-quality work at a fast pace. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can lead people, keep track of details, adapt when priorities change, and bring calm organization to a fast-moving environment. Technical production skills can continue to develop, but leadership, organization, accountability, cultural awareness, and the willingness to learn are essential. Key responsibilities Lead the daily operations of Rafi Law Group's photo, video, podcast, and multimedia production studio. Build and manage production calendars, shoot schedules, project pipelines, team assignments, and deadlines. Turn creative ideas into organized and realistic production plans. Track multiple active projects and communicate status, needs, risks, and next steps. Supervise and support editors, photographers, producers, contractors, and production partners. Partner closely with the Content Director and Creative Director. Establish clear production processes and quality-control standards. Organize studio equipment, inventory, storage, maintenance, and check-in procedures. Coordinate productions involving executives, employees, clients, podcast guests, influencers, and community partners. Maintain organized file systems, backups, archives, naming conventions, and asset-management procedures. Identify production bottlenecks and solve them before they become larger problems. Coordinate vendors, locations, estimates, invoices, and outside resources with Marketing Operations. Support hands-on production or troubleshooting when needed. Develop responsible AI-assisted workflows for planning, editing, transcription, organization, versioning, and content production. Ensure all AI-assisted work receives appropriate human review. Stay aware of Phoenix and Arizona culture, including sports, music, entertainment, events, and community conversations. Help prepare the studio for future growth and possible outside production opportunities. What we are looking for Experience coordinating or leading creative, production, studio, agency, media, events, or project-based work. Exceptional organization, communication, leadership, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects without losing important details. Ability to create systems, improve workflows, and hold people accountable respectfully. Working familiarity with photo, video, audio, podcast, or content production. Expert-level camera knowledge is not required. Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn unfamiliar tools. Highly motivated, dependable, open-minded, and comfortable with change. Ability to work directly with executives, guests, vendors, and creative personalities. Interest in AI tools and emerging creative technology; prior expertise is helpful but not required. Major advantages Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are a major advantage but are not required. Experience with branded content, podcasts, events, entertainment, or commercial production. Strong knowledge of Phoenix, Arizona, and the local creative and cultural community. Experience building production workflows or managing an internal studio. Business development, partnership, or client-management experience. Success in this role Success means bringing organization and accountability to the production process, keeping projects moving, helping the team work effectively, reducing bottlenecks, protecting creative assets, and building a production system that can scale with the firm.
