Job Description

About the Role The Royalty Family is looking for an organized, proactive, and hands-on Assistant Director to help manage production schedules and support the directing team during on-set shoots. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and can keep schedules, talent, crew, and production activities organized while helping ensure shoots run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist with planning and managing production schedules Coordinate shoot times, locations, talent, and production activities Help direct and manage on-set activities Support the Director during filming and ensure scenes stay on schedule Communicate with talent, crew, and production team members Help organize daily shoot plans and call times Monitor timing and keep productions moving efficiently Assist with resolving on-set issues and last-minute changes Help ensure all planned scenes and content are completed Coordinate with editors, producers, and other creative team members as needed Qualifications Experience in video production, directing, assistant directing, or a similar role Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working on set and in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage schedules and multiple tasks at the same time Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work well with talent and production crews Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly Experience with YouTube, digital content, or creator production is a plus Production or directing experience/work samples preferred Location & Compensation Onsite in Woodland Hills, California$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
