Job Description

We're seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to strengthen our most valued client relationships and turn successful projects into long-term partnerships. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, anticipate future construction needs, protect client satisfaction, and create opportunities for repeat business and account growth. If you understand commercial construction and know how to build credibility with senior decision-makers, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Manage and grow relationships with key clients, municipalities, previous owners, and strategic accounts. Serve as a primary client contact and ensure consistent, responsive communication. Learn each client's business objectives, capital plans, and future construction needs. Develop account strategies focused on retention, repeat business, and sustainable growth. Identify additional services, continuous-service contracts, and opportunities within existing accounts. Monitor client satisfaction and address relationship concerns proactively. Coordinate with Executive Leadership, Operations, Preconstruction, and Estimating to deliver a consistent client experience. Maintain accurate account and opportunity information in HubSpot. Represent Chris-Tel at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and community functions. Who You Are You have 5-7 years of commercial construction business development or strategic account experience with a General Contractor. You have a record of managing key accounts and developing long-term business partnerships. You understand commercial construction delivery methods and the project lifecycle. You communicate confidently with owners, municipalities, executives, and internal project teams. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Microsoft Office proficiency is required; HubSpot or similar CRM experience is preferred. You can travel to client meetings, project sites, and business events, including occasional overnight travel.
