KJAN Radio in Atlantic, Iowa is currently seeking a dedicated radio professional who takes great pride in being a news hound! We are looking to fill the position of News/Farm Director. In this position, you will be expected to produce local content by covering city/county/school meetings in our southwest Iowa area. Build relationships with local leaders and generate news and farm content for on-air and digital use. You will also be responsible for collecting weather information. Recording and archiving that local news for use on-air. Essentially, you will be in charge of your newsroom. We will give you the tools and guidance you need to be successful. You have to provide the drive! This is a full-time position that may require some night and weekend work when duty calls. A competitive salary and benefits package is included.
