About us Herrington Excavating is a 50-year-old locally owned business in Rockford, MI. This position requires at least 5 years of commercial excavating including the operation of excavators, bulldozers and loaders as well as knowledge of GPS applications. Some recommended qualities for the ideal candidate include experience managing an excavating crew in a commercial setting including communicating with vendors and sub-contractors, some experience reading and interpreting blue prints, and having a valid Michigan driver's license.
