Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Worship and Media Technology Director to lead our church's worship services and media production efforts. The ideal candidate will plan and lead services for a multi-generational congregation every Sunday while maintaining an online presence for the church via website and social media content. This is an exciting opportunity to work towards new vision for this church as it seeks to reach more people online and in the community. Job Responsibilities and Character Requirements Leads and oversees Sunday morning worship of the church service (including reading music, singing and playing an instrument, scheduling of musicians, vocalists, and media team (sound tech, video, computer). This will be managed via the Planning Center App Possesses Several Years of Experience Leading Worship and online management of social media and websites Oversees maintenance of church website and online presence via social media outlets (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Reel Maker, etc.) Exhibits a vibrant personal walk with Jesus Christ as evidenced through personal devotion to Scripture and involvement in a local church Must agree with the EFCA Statement of Faith, Oxlip Church's Constitution and By-laws, Vision, Policies, and Core Values Identifies and recruits other musicians to serve at Oxlip Church Stays up-to-date with current online trends and pursues further training skills for website and social media outlets Meets bi-weekly with the Lead Pastor for service planning Plans special services when needed (i.e. Christmas Eve, Good Friday, funerals, etc.) Leads rehearsals and sound checks with the worship team Maintains church-owned instruments and sound equipment through upkeep, updating, and purchasing new equipment/technology Maintains licensing for music, scheduling, and live streaming Sets up ProPresenter with lyrics, sermon slides, and videos to be used during worship services Develops an annual budget and works within that budget Participates in an annual review with the
Lead Pastor Pay:
$30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
