Job Description

The news director for KMUL is responsible for collecting and publishing news briefs on kmulradio.com, covering news that happens on campus, recording a by-weekly newscast, and supervising student reporters.
Duties Include:
Reviewing UCM Daily and campus bulletin boards for flyers to produce news briefs to publish on Central News on KMULradio.com Taking news briefs, recording VOX Pops, and reporting on news events to produce a by-weekly newscast to air at pre-scheduled times on KMUL Working with and assigning news features to student reporters.
Education:
Junior or Senior at the
University of Central Missouri Experience:
At least one year of high school or college journalism experience
Working Hours and Days:
Monday - Saturday 7:00 AM- 10:00 PM as scheduled No more than 20 hours a week
