Job Description
At NASCAR, you will work alongside passionate people creating experiences fans feel and helping shape the future of sports and entertainment. NASCAR is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Brand Content Production to help shape the future of social-first storytelling, lead high-performing creative teams, drive innovative content production across platforms, create engaging fan experiences that connect with millions of fans, and advance NASCAR's position at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and digital culture. Based in Charlotte, NC, this role will oversee the production of content across NASCAR and NASCAR Track social channels, ensuring teams, systems, and creative processes are built to deliver impactful storytelling at scale. This leader will play a critical role in helping NASCAR reach new audiences, elevate the fan experience, and bring the sport's biggest personalities, moments, and stories to life across the social ecosystem. What You'll Do Oversee a team of producers, videographers, editors, and photographers producing social-first content for organic and paid channels (as needed), setting clear expectations around quality and production standards. Lead the production of platform-native content that keeps NASCAR in the conversation, highlighting drivers, moments, trends, and the NASCAR experience across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, with a clear understanding of how production, pacing, and storytelling differ by platform. Ensure content is built with a strong understanding of how people consume, engage with, and share content in feed. Ensure social-first content is designed to resonate beyond core NASCAR fans, reaching broader sports and culture audiences while staying grounded in the sport. Establish clear, repeatable production processes across social and brand content, including project intake, creative briefing, timelines, approvals, and delivery. Ensure systems are in place, in partnership with NASCAR Productions, so all brand content is properly archived, tagged, and stored for discoverability and reuse across the broader NASCAR ecosystem. Partner with production management to align production workflows, schedules, and resourcing across daily content, tentpole moments, marketing initiatives, and paid social campaigns. Set standards for shot lists, post-production workflows, file management, and versioning to reduce friction and increase efficiency. Create feedback loops between performance data and production decisions, helping teams learn what works and iterate faster. Work closely with colleagues to align production with platform strategy, audience goals, and content strategy. Build strong partnerships across Brand, Social, and Marketing teams to ensure content is planned and produced collaboratively, not in silos. Guide approved ideas from conception through production, ensuring teams are clearly briefed, aligned on expectations, and set up to execute efficiently. Help shape original formats and repeatable franchises that showcase drivers, unlock access, and add depth to NASCAR's content strategy. Oversee social and digital video projects from start to finish, owning timelines, budgets, resourcing, and delivery standards. Stay close to the work when needed, directing shoots, shaping edits, and supporting execution, while empowering the team to own their work.
