Under the supervision of the Vice President of Youth Development, the Association Director of Summer Day Camp and Youth Sports is responsible for program quality, delivery, fidelity, growth, innovation and capacity building for our Youth Development programs including Track Out Camp, Summer Day Camp and Youth Sports programs. In addition, the Association Director is responsible for coordinating the YMCA of the Triangle's FamiliesOn! Challenge, as well as developing the business plan for early childhood programming and coordinating association efforts serving children with diverse abilities. The position is responsible for managing these programs and their functions in accordance with the stated mission, purpose, goals, and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees, and Board of Directors of the YMCA of the Triangle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years progressive leadership and program development experience. Demonstrated commitment to building community and fostering meaningful relationships through mission-driven work and cross-department collaboration. Experience supporting organizational initiatives and staff development within a team-based, service-oriented environment. Ability to coordinate projects, workflows, and schedules effectively in a dynamic setting. Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and public-facing interactions. Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Builds inclusive, mission-driven relationships with youth, families, and community members from diverse backgrounds. Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred, but not required.
