Position Overview The Associate Director, POC is responsible for leading a portfolio of client accounts, guiding strategic media planning and investment decisions, and managing high-performing teams. This role serves as a senior client partner and strategic advisor, ensuring the successful development, execution, and optimization of Point of Care advertising campaigns while driving client growth, operational excellence, and team development. The ideal candidate is an experienced media professional with strong leadership skills, deep POC expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex client relationships and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic POC media plans that align with client business objectives. Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, agency partners, and media vendors, fostering strong and productive relationships. Oversee campaign planning, implementation, optimization, and post-campaign analysis across a portfolio of accounts. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Managers, Associates/Account Executives, and other team members. Ensure team adherence to planning processes, operational workflows, and client deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability. Identify opportunities to grow existing client business and support new business development efforts. Present strategic recommendations, marketplace insights, industry trends, and performance results to clients and senior stakeholders. Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies that enhance team effectiveness and client service. Monitor industry developments, emerging media opportunities, and evolving consumer trends to inform client strategies. Partner with agency leadership on strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, and organizational growth opportunities. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. 7-10 years of experience in media planning, buying, account management, or related fields, preferably within POC or a media agency environment. Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading large-scale media programs. Proven experience developing and managing high-performing teams. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Deep understanding of POC media planning, buying, measurement, and marketplace dynamics. Experience managing significant client budgets and driving account growth. Experience leading cross-functional teams and agency initiatives. Familiarity with industry measurement, research, and planning tools.
