The Opportunity The Director of Operations & Logistics will be responsible for the development and ongoing oversight of daily production and logistics operations. This role will lead multiple operational departments, ensuring production schedules, service levels, quality standards, and business goals are consistently achieved. The Director will oversee operational performance, staffing, safety, compliance, inventory, and process improvement while identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, improve quality, and manage costs. This role will work closely with Sales, Ecommerce, IT, and other internal teams to ensure Operations and Logistics effectively support the company's overall business objectives and long-term growth. What You'll Be Doing Lead and oversee daily operations across Sort, Testing, QC, Inventory, Fulfillment, Returns, Refurb, Shipping, and Receiving. Manage production schedules, workflows, and priorities to ensure orders meet SLA expectations and production goals. Monitor and manage KPIs, costs, WIP inventory, staffing, and overall departmental performance. Establish clear performance metrics, identify operational issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and profitability. Ensure teams receive required training and maintain compliance with company processes, standards, and procedures. Oversee Environmental Health & Safety training, inspections, documentation, and corrective actions. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient production environment. Evaluate production and refurbishment processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Manage headcount planning and ensure appropriate staffing levels across departments based on business needs and performance. Develop and implement quality control processes to reduce defects and support continuous improvement. Analyze operational data and prepare reports and recommendations for management as required. Work closely with Inbound Sales, Product Sales, Ecommerce, IT, and otherdepartments to align operational priorities with business objectives. Support the development and implementation of reports, systems, and integrations that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support revenue growth. Act as a key liaison between Operations & Logistics and other internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective execution. What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Proven work experience as a Director of Operations or similar role. Knowledge of organizational effectiveness, logistics and operations management. Familiarity with business and financial principles. Demonstrated success in establishing and managing KPIs, productivity targets, quality metrics, SLAs, labor performance, and operational costs. Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality controls, training programs, and process improvements. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, headcount management, and cost control. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data and translate findings into actionable business decisions. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance daily operational execution with long-term business objectives.
