Our culture values independence and accountability, where we empower our employees to make an impact. With 30 years in business, Tricon has become a global leader in the trading and distribution of petrochemicals, polymers, and raw materials. Today, we are one of the largest privately held companies in Houston, the world's second-largest chemical distributor according to ICIS, and ranked #35 on Forbes' list of Top Private Companies in America. We conduct business in over 120 countries, supported by a truly multinational workforce of 1,000 employees across 40 countries. Our team delivers value to customers and partners through deep market expertise and integrated capabilities including logistics, risk management, financing, and market intelligence. Guided by our purpose to efficiently and sustainably connect the world with essential goods, Tricon plays a critical role in enabling global commerce while helping suppliers and customers focus on what they do best. At Tricon, you'll join a global organization where scale meets agility, and where your ideas, ownership, and ambition can help shape the future of international trade. The Program The Commercial Development Program (CDP) is a structured, multi-year rotational program designed to develop Tricon's next generation of commercial leaders. Built for individuals with strong analytical ability, commercial intensity, and a drive to operate in fast-moving global markets, the program provides immersive exposure to the physical commodities business across trading-adjacent functions. Participants will rotate through core commercial areas, gaining hands-on experience in how physical trades are structured, executed, priced, and risk-managed. The program blends on-the-job learning with formal training, mentorship from senior commercial professionals, and ongoing performance feedback to prepare participants for long-term careers in Tricon's commercial organization, with progression toward trader-facing or commercial roles. International mobility is an important part of the program, and participants may be required to relocate to another Tricon office based on business needs, rotation opportunities, and long-term placement.
