VP, Marketing Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager oversees customer relationships, contract execution, and commercial performance while ensuring coordination with Scheduling, Operations, Accounting, and Contracts to deliver reliable commercial outcomes across midstream operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day to day marketing and commercial activities for assigned customers, commodities, and markets Oversee execution of marketing transactions, including pricing support, contract performance, and deal coordination Lead and develop customer relationships, serving as a primary commercial point of contact Coordinate closely with Scheduling, Operations, and Logistics to ensure commercial commitments are executed accurately Partner with Accounting and Settlements to ensure accurate invoicing, reconciliation, and financial close activities Monitor contract and customer performance, identifying risks, issues, or optimization opportunities Provide guidance and oversight to marketing staff or support roles, as applicable Support development and improvement of commercial processes, controls, and reporting Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and internal control requirements Contribute to commercial strategy, market analysis, and business development initiatives as needed
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in marketing, commercial operations, or energy trading within the oil & gas or midstream sector Prior experience managing customers, contracts, and commercial execution required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Requirements/Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of midstream markets, contracts, and commercial workflows Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead commercial execution in a fast paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel High level of professionalism, accountability, and business acumen Ability to travel if business requires
