Fit For The Kingdom Global Ministries is seeking an experienced, dependable, and technically skilled Production & Audio Director to oversee and execute the ministry's audio, visual, livestream, and overall production needs. This position is ideal for an individual with expert-level experience in live production and professional audio who understands the unique demands of a worship environment. The Production & Audio Director will be responsible for ensuring that every service, ministry event, and special program is supported with excellence, consistency, and technical precision. Position Responsibilities The Production & Audio Director will: Provide overall leadership and technical oversight for Sunday worship services, special services, conferences, and ministry events. Manage and operate the church's front-of-house audio system , ensuring clear, balanced, and professional sound throughout the worship experience. Responsible for the weekly setup and breakdown of all production and audio equipment , ensuring equipment is properly installed, tested, organized, safely stored, and ready for each service or ministry event. Mix live audio for pastors, speakers, worship leaders, vocalists, musicians, and other program participants. Oversee microphones, wireless systems, monitors, digital mixing consoles, playback systems, and other audio equipment. Troubleshoot audio issues including feedback, interference, signal loss, routing problems, and equipment failures. Conduct sound checks and ensure all production systems are fully operational prior to services and events. Oversee livestream production and ensure high-quality audio and video for the ministry's online audience. Coordinate cameras, video switching, presentation software, graphics, lighting, livestream platforms, and other production elements as applicable. Maintain proper signal flow, gain structure, routing, patching, and system configuration. Work closely with the Music Ministry, pastoral leadership, Administration, and other ministry departments to understand and execute production needs. Develop and maintain production procedures, equipment standards, system documentation, and service workflows. Recruit, train, develop, and provide direction to production and audio volunteers as needed. Maintain production equipment and promptly communicate repair, replacement, or upgrade needs. Assist leadership with recommendations regarding future production equipment, technology, and system improvements. Maintain a professional, organized, and distraction-free production environment. Arrive sufficiently early for services and events to complete setup, testing, sound checks, and troubleshooting before participants and congregants arrive. Required Qualifications Qualified candidates should have: Expert-level experience in professional audio engineering, live sound, and/or church production. Demonstrated experience operating professional digital mixing consoles and live audio systems. Strong knowledge of microphones, wireless systems, monitors, speakers, amplifiers, signal processing, EQ, compression, gating, effects, and gain structure. Experience troubleshooting complex audio and production systems in real time. Experience with livestreaming, video production, presentation systems, and related church production technology. Strong understanding of audio signal flow, routing, networking, and system integration. Experience supporting live bands, vocalists, speakers, and worship environments. Ability to remain calm, attentive, and solutions-focused during live services. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to train and develop volunteers with varying levels of technical experience. Dependability and availability for Sunday services, rehearsals, special services, and other scheduled ministry events. Ability to work collaboratively while respecting the ministry's leadership structure and established processes. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications or formal education in audio engineering, broadcast production, live production, music technology, or a related field are preferred but not required when substantial professional experience can be demonstrated. Experience with church production environments, digital audio networking, livestream platforms, multi-camera production, lighting systems, ProPresenter or comparable presentation software, and professional video-switching systems is strongly preferred.
