Automotive Product Specialist - Installation & Technical Support RGB Halo Kits | Gilbert, Arizona | Full-time | In person About the role RGB Halo Kits is looking for someone with automotive knowledge, practical ability, and strong computer skills to help customers understand, install, and use our automotive lighting products. Your primary focus will be product testing, installation guides, and accurate product information. You will also help customers with technical questions and troubleshooting. The work involves time at a workbench, around vehicles, and at a computer. You do not need to be a professional mechanic. You do need baseline knowledge of cars, common makes and models, and aftermarket modifications. The videos you create will focus on installation walkthroughs and product demonstrations. Social media account management is not part of this position. What you will do Assist with product installations and vehicle testing, documenting fitment, wiring requirements, operation, and any limitations. Learn our headlight assembly, opening, resealing, and product testing methods. Create step-by-step installation guides, including planning the shots, filming the process, writing instructions, editing the video, and uploading the finished material. Take product and installation photos and create clear videos showing how products work, what is included, and what installation involves. Update Shopify product descriptions and help articles so compatibility, features, included components, and installation requirements match verified information. Help customers troubleshoot product setup, wiring, and installation questions. Review their photos and videos, document what they have tried, and escalate issues when needed. Use recurring customer questions to improve instructions, FAQs, and product information. Keep files organized and carry assigned projects through technical review and publication. What we are looking for Automotive knowledge: Familiarity with common makes and models, model years, trims, basic vehicle components, and aftermarket modifications. You understand why compatibility must be checked for the specific vehicle.

Practical aptitude:

Comfortable working with tools and parts, following instructions, and learning installation and troubleshooting procedures.

Computer confidence:

Comfortable researching online, organizing files, working with documents, uploading material, and learning new software.

Basic media skills:

Able to capture clear photos and video, make a straightforward edit, and explain a process on camera or through voiceover.

Clear communication:

Able to write understandable instructions and patiently explain technical information to someone unfamiliar with the product.

Accuracy and ownership:

You check details, ask questions when something is uncertain, accept feedback, and finish projects without constant reminders. Experience that would help Hands-on experience installing automotive lighting, car audio, accessories, or other modifications is strongly preferred. Personal projects count. Experience editing videos, creating how-to guides, maintaining online product listings, updating websites, or providing online technical support is also valuable. Familiarity with Shopify, video editing software, YouTube uploads, or customer support platforms is helpful. You do not need experience with every tool. We can teach our products, headlight methods, and internal workflows.
