We sell across multiple channels, but our live stream commerce business is a major part of what we do. We're looking for someone who can help us build an entertaining, high-energy live shopping experience that customers want to come back to. This isn't a traditional retail job. You are the show. We're looking for someone who can entertain a room, sell products, build relationships with customers, and keep the energy high for an entire stream. The Role As a Live Commerce Host, you'll host live selling sessions primarily on Whatnot. You'll be responsible for keeping viewers engaged, creating excitement around products, running auctions and promotions, and ultimately driving sales. The best person for this role is someone who naturally talks to people, loves competition, sales oriented, gets excited about collectibles, and isn't afraid to be loud, funny, or a little ridiculous on camera. You don't need to be a professional streamer. You do need to be someone people want to watch. What You'll Do Host 2-4 hour live selling sessions on Whatnot. Sell Pokémon, One Piece, Gundam, Riftbound and other collectible products. Create an energetic, entertaining environment that keeps viewers watching. Talk with customers and make viewers feel like part of the community. Run auctions, product drops, promotions, giveaways, and other live-selling formats. Learn our products and become knowledgeable enough to confidently sell them. Create urgency and excitement without sacrificing authenticity. Keep the show moving quickly and efficiently. Recognize opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and increase the value of each customer. Experiment with different products, pricing, formats, and sales techniques. Learn from stream performance and continuously improve. Help turn first-time viewers into repeat customers. Represent the TraderzTCG brand and create an experience customers remember. What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is: Naturally energetic and outgoing. Comfortable being the center of attention. Confident speaking to a camera for several hours. A strong conversationalist who can keep talking without sounding scripted. Competitive and motivated by sales and performance. Quick on their feet and able to improvise. Comfortable interacting with strangers and handling unexpected situations. Able to create excitement without being fake or overly scripted. Reliable, punctual, and coachable. Comfortable receiving feedback and making adjustments quickly. Interested in Pokémon, trading cards, collectibles, gaming, sports, or similar communities. Experience that helps You don't need all of these, but experience in any of the following is a major plus: Whatnot TikTok Shop Live Twitch YouTube Instagram Live Live selling Retail sales Door-to-door or commission sales Social media/content creation Hosting, performing, or entertainment Previous Whatnot experience is a plus — but personality, sales ability, and work ethic matter more. What Success Looks Like We don't expect you to walk in and be perfect on Day 1. We'll train you on our products, systems, and selling formats. What we do expect is improvement. During your first 90 days, we'll be looking at things like: Viewer engagement and retention Sales performance Ability to generate repeat customers Energy and consistency Product knowledge Ability to follow the show's structure Customer interactions Willingness to learn and accept coaching Reliability and punctuality Our goal is to develop hosts who can build an audience and become a valuable part of the TraderzTCG brand. Schedule Part-time to start Approximately 3 days per week Approximately 4-5 hours per shift Primarily morning or afternoon Additional hours available based on performance and business needs This is an in-person position in Orange County, CA. Compensation $20
- 90/hour After a probation period, an immediate hourly pay rate bump can be expected ($25 minimum) along with commissions which often time is more than the base.
Compensation will depend on experience and performance. Additional performance-based bonuses may be available as you progress. We believe our best hosts should have the opportunity to make significantly more than their base hourly rate when they perform well. Selected candidates may be invited to a paid live-host audition before a final hiring decision is made.
