Job Description
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / DP
/ Shooter —
VERTICAL MICRODRAMA - COMEDY
We're looking for a talented Director of Photography / DP / Shooter to collaborate on an upcoming scripted vertical microdrama series. Yes it's a comedy. We're specifically looking for someone who understands 9:16 vertical cinematography and knows how to compose, light and shoot narrative scenes specifically for a mobile-first audience. What we're looking for
Proven experience shooting 9:16 vertical content
Strong cinematography and visual storytelling instincts
Experience with scripted narrative, short-form or microdrama preferred
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Owns or has access to a professional camera package
Comfortable handling both cinematography and camera operation
Strong understanding of lighting, composition, lenses and movement for vertical framing Camera / Gear
We are particularly interested in DPs who can bring their own camera package.
