Freelance Photographer / Media Contractor Automotive Motorsports Events | Southern California LuVshots Media is expanding its network of reliable photographers and media professionals for ongoing and project-based assignments throughout Southern California. We're looking for photographers who are comfortable working independently, following an established creative direction, and representing LuVshots Media professionally while working with our clients. Assignments may include automotive inventory photography, automotive content, motorsports and racing events, community/corporate events, and other commercial media projects. Responsibilities Photograph vehicles using established shot lists and brand guidelines Capture consistent interior, exterior, detail, and lifestyle imagery Safely move and position client vehicles when required for photography Cover motorsports, automotive, community, and other live events Capture candid, action, environmental, and detail photography Follow assignment-specific creative direction and deliverable requirements Maintain organized files and upload/deliver media within established deadlines Communicate professionally with clients, staff, event personnel, and the LuVshots Media team Properly handle professional equipment and client property Work independently while maintaining consistent quality standards Qualifications Photography experience with a strong understanding of composition, exposure, focus, and lighting Own reliable professional or prosumer camera equipment capable of shooting RAW Automotive photography experience preferred Motorsports or event photography experience is a plus Comfortable photographing in fast-paced environments Ability to follow established workflows and shot lists Dependable transportation Valid driver's license and safe driving record Must be comfortable safely operating and repositioning client vehicles, including performance and specialty vehicles when an assignment requires it Professional, dependable, punctual, and comfortable interacting with clients Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Weekend availability is strongly preferred for motorsports and event assignments Assignment Types Automotive InventoryRecurring vehicle photography requiring consistent angles, details, and presentation. Schedule This is project-based/freelance work. Assignment frequency, duration, location, and schedule will vary based on client needs. Some recurring automotive assignments may take place during weekdays, while motorsports and event assignments frequently occur on weekends and may involve extended days and travel.
