Job Summary Provides clinical and diagnostic support to ophthalmologists by performing ophthalmic imaging, diagnostic testing, and preliminary patient workups. Operates specialized ophthalmic equipment, including fundus cameras to capture and evaluate eye images and test results. Explains procedures to patients, administers eye exams and eye medications, and documents medical history to support physician evaluation and diagnosis. Ensures timely communication of abnormal findings, maintains equipment and supplies, and contributes to efficient clinic workflows while delivering age-appropriate patient care. Pay Range Minimum $25.46 Midpoint $33.73 Maximum $42.01 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience Required:

Minimum two (2) years of experience in an Ophthalmology/Optometry office.

Preferred:

Pediatric clinical experience.

Education Required:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). One (1) year experience, as an ophthalmic photographer, Refraction, measuring of eye, imaging, and photography.

A-Scan, B-Scan, Visual Field, OCT, Optos, Fundus Photo, Interior Segment.

Licensure Required:

Basic Life Support (BLS),
