Classifieds Designer at Summit Daily Classifieds Designer at Summit Daily in Frisco, Colorado Posted in about 3 hours ago. Summit Daily News and Steamboat Pilot & Today are hiring a part-time classifieds page designer. No design experience is necessary, but the ideal candidate will be experienced with a variety of computer programs, a quick learner and detail oriented. The work takes place on deadline Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. The work can start as early as 2 p.m. for Summit Daily and 3 p.m. for Steamboat Pilot & Today. The classifieds section of each paper should take about 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the day, and all sections are due to press by 5 p.m. Total estimated hours per week are 4-8. The position can be based in either Summit or Routt counties, and work can be completed from home after the training period. This is not a remote position. Position Summary Classifieds page designers are responsible for laying out the content of the classifieds pages in coordination with the operations manager. In addition to design, the role includes producing PDFs of completed classifieds pages and outputting them to press. Classifieds page designers also ensure deadlines are met by following an established workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Lay out classifieds ads according to predetermined templates. Create well-designed, well-presented pages following established design styles. Follow the workflow to meet all deadlines.
Experience/Qualifications:

Compensation:
