GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

In-House Photographer & Videographer This role is creativity-driven but fundamentally production-oriented and utilitarian. You'll capture the daily happenings of our shop and turn them into engaging, usable content working closely with the shop manager and techs to stay current on installations and van timelines.

What to expect:

This is a fast-paced environment, no two days look alike. Your schedule is largely dictated by what's happening in the shop, so flexibility and quick turnaround are essential. Some days will be spent capturing content, some will be slower paced, edit heavy days, and some may be a mix of both. What you'll create: Content produced in this role is used across every platform: website, social media, sales team materials, ecommerce and more. This isn't a social-media-only position; there's a real operational need for photo and video assets. Not everything will be cinematic or "creative." Our content needs span a wide range of styles: engaging, personable videos and reels, tutorial and educational content, and detailed photos of parts and installations just to name a few. Versatility matters, since different parts of the business call for different approaches. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical acumen to operate, configure, set up and operate video / audio / lighting and other production equipment Product and Project Documentation Provide content to and for Marketing Department via production schedule that will be provided monthly and weekly. Manage long term projects via photography and capturing B-roll to create project narratives for long form content. Understanding of post-production techniques Proficient in Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Adobe Premier Create short videos for social media marketing Provide photo and video for multiple use cases including but not limited to: sales assistance, e-commerce, website, social media, marketing emails, etc... Data organization, ability to library footage/photos daily Location scouting and assessment

OTHER DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Creativity and attention to detail Ability to work under deadline pressure Flexibility to pivot tasks when necessary Energy and determination Handle multiple tasks in a timely manner Ability to work closely with our remote marketing team/ manager via teams, facetime, emails, text, dropbox, etc... Communication with the shop manager and lead technicians to help plan projects according to what is going on in the shop daily Intentional on-the-job learning - this job will require a basic understanding of parts that are being installed and gear we sell to make media planning streamlined and to capture meaningful content
