Job Description
Subsecond LLC is looking for a motivated and creative Photographer/Videographer to oversee content creation for our social media platforms, company website, and overall brand presence. Subsecond is a veteran-owned tactical gear manufacturing company built by the end user, for the end user. We design, manufacture, and sell high-quality equipment for military, law enforcement, and industry professionals. Our brand is built around performance, professionalism, hard work, and real-world use. The Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for capturing, creating, organizing, and publishing content that represents Subsecond's products, people, mission, and culture. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage daily responsibilities, and stay flexible when time-sensitive projects or product launches come up. Most of the work will be completed independently, but collaboration with the owner and other team members will happen regularly. Subsecond operates as a team environment, and we expect this person to communicate clearly, take initiative, and understand the importance of representing the brand the right way. Position Summary The Photographer/Videographer is responsible for creating and managing photo, video, and written content for Subsecond's social media platforms, website, email marketing, and other digital media needs. This position supports product launches, daily content, behind-the-scenes media, training content, customer education, and brand storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities Create photo and video content for social media, website, and marketing use Edit photos, reels, short videos, and basic graphics Help plan, schedule, and manage social media content Support product launches with media, captions, and website content Capture product, shop, training, and behind-the-scenes content Capture media at the facility and occasionally at ranges, training events, or other off-site locations when needed Keep media files organized and easy to access Maintain consistent branding across all content Work independently and collaborate with the team when needed Qualifications Experience creating photo and video content Basic photo and video editing skills Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and website content Organized, dependable, and self-motivated Able to work independently and manage daily tasks Flexible when priorities change Strong attention to detail Good communication skills Willingness to learn Subsecond's products, brand, and customers Preferred Qualifications Experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software Experience managing business social media accounts Shopify experience preferred Basic copywriting skills for captions, product content, and emails Familiarity with tactical gear, military, law enforcement, or competitive shooting industries
