About us Storybook Studios is a smaller boutique photography company specializing in volume photography in a preschool setting. We are trying to elevate the entire industry to a higher caliber in high volume shooting- more contemporary backdrops/props- a much more animated and fun experience for the kids. We capture personality rather than "cheese." Looking for assistants to help out at preschool photography shoots. Great supplemental income for students, nannies, stay at home moms looking to make some extra side money! Aspiring photographers would be great at this role as well! Childcare workers or college kids looking to go into early childhood education! Part time and seasonal work. October and November, then March and April. Must be comfortable, natural with and able to work with and read/direct children. Team atmosphere- may be responsible for picking up/returning equipment and arriving at set location ON TIME. Responsible for helping to set up/tear down equipment, organizing details of the shoot, assisting photographers in posing, prop selection and making children laugh/smile. Shoots are Monday-Friday 7am-12:30pm (you wont be scheduled for every shoot and start/finish times vary based on how large the school location is) Bonus if you have an aesthetic eye or design style to help match/coordinate props with different outfits. Bonus if you have experience on set with photography or videography, or working with children/previous daycare center experience. These are 2-3 personnel sets so you will not be responsible for the entirety of the shoot but will work as a team with 1-2 other people.
