Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Photographer to join our Jupiter, Florida location at Retina Group of Florida! The Ophthalmic Photographer performs accurate ophthalmic photographs as per the ordering physician and protocols. The position of Ophthalmic Photographer works closely with board-certified retina specialists to provide outstanding patient care. The Ophthalmic Photographer is required to travel to local offices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs intravenous fluorescein angiographies and ICG angiographies. Performs color fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, and retinal thickness analysis Obtains informed consent form as it applies Ensures proper maintenance of cameras and associated instruments Assists with the flow of the clinic Maintains adequate levels of supplies for imaging department. Adheres to OSHA, HIPAA and security protocols. Supports RGF's Mission Statement. Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
2-year recent experience preferred COA or COT certification is preferred Excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, and staff Ability to exhibit patience, compassion and excellent customer service skills Flexibility with hours and local area travel Ability to work in multiple software programs/applications Ability to prioritize tasks properly Ability to work in a high pace team environment and or independently Must have the ability to multi-task Must have attention to detail and accuracy. Must be willing to travel to Wellington and Boynton offices as needed.
