We are accepting applications for a School Photographer/Assistant. Position will start in August, whenever you would like. No photography experience is necessary. This is a rewarding position that provides the opportunity to work with children in schools in a positive and enjoyable environment. This position is seasonal, Fall (August through November), and an optional Spring position (February through May). There will be a bonus at the end of the fall season based on job performance. School Picture days include generally be at the school an hour before school starts.

Job responsibilities:

Working in a team environment with co-workers. Frequently setting up/lifting equipment up to 20 pounds. Traveling to school locations to photograph school portraits for children K-12, and doing paperwork.

Requirements for this Photographer position:

Able to work in a fast paced environment and enjoy working with children in a school photo day environment. Dependable, on time or early to photo day assignments. Must live within 30 minutes of Iowa City or Cedar Rapids. Traveling to photo day locations, mileage is paid for out of town driving. Must have an insured, reliable transportation; a valid driver's license to arrive at photo day locations. Must be able to drive your own car to locations up to 1 hr and 30 minutes away.
