Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auction Set-Up/Photographer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing auction items for display, capturing high-quality images, and ensuring all visual presentations meet our standards of excellence. Your creativity and technical skills will help showcase items effectively, attracting bidders and driving engagement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine artistic talent with organizational precision in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional auction experiences. Duties Coordinate the setup of auction items, ensuring proper placement, labeling, and condition verification for optimal presentation Capture professional photographs of auction items using digital cameras and lighting equipment, emphasizing clarity and detail Edit and enhance images utilizing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One to ensure color accuracy and visual appeal Manage color calibration and color management processes to maintain consistency across all visual materials Film short videos or create visual content for online listings or promotional purposes using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing tools Conduct post-production editing including photo manipulation, retouching, and video editing to produce polished final assets Collaborate with art direction teams to ensure visual standards align with branding guidelines and marketing strategies Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere, and Capture One Strong knowledge of photo editing techniques, photo manipulation, and color theory principles Experience with videography, filming techniques, and video production workflows using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Ability to manage color calibration and ensure consistent color management across digital assets Excellent organizational skills for coordinating setup schedules and maintaining accurate records of items photographed Knowledge of social media management to optimize visual content for online platforms Background in journalism or art direction is a plus for storytelling through imagery Strong attention to detail combined with creative vision to produce compelling visual presentations Join us in creating captivating visual stories that elevate our auctions!
