The Crystal Image is currently hiring for our studio assistant position.

Who you are:

Responsible, detail-oriented, interested in learning new things, good with people, self-starter, conscientious and enjoyable to be around. Who you aren't: Super sensitive. Unwilling to learn. Rude to clients. Not a team player (aka a know-it-all). What you'll do: Culling and editing of images. Assisting at photo sessions. Working one-on-one with clients, both in person and on the phone. Checking and packaging orders. Shooting content videos. Communicating with vendors. Helping with marketing and social media creation and implementation. This is a team of two, so your work matters. Creativity and interest in photography is a plus. Extra points for being a Photoshop master. However, if this is not currently in your skill set but you are comfortable and well-versed in other software, I am willing to train the right person. Please be honest about your abilities as it does not mean you will not get the job. Must be able to function in a casual environment. (We talk, we play music, etc.) If you are stimulus-sensitive, then this might not work for you. Starting pay $10.50-13/hour Part-time, ranging from 12-20 hours per week Must have daytime availability at least two days during the week (5+ hour blocks preferred) Some nights and weekends required, but typically only 3-4 hours at a time, when necessary to accommodate clients (and my current assistant has only had to do this 2-3 times in the past three years) Flexible hours Monthly and yearly bonus opportunities after 90 days Hourly pay has the potential to increase quickly.
