To be our regular photographer in Louisville, you must have your own indoor lights (at least 3 lights, preferably 4), umbrellas, strobes, timers, stands and backdrop. Job Overview We are seeking a talented and energetic Freelance Photographer to join our dynamic team for high-quality HS Athlete photoshoots this Fall. As a freelance photographer, you will be responsible for capturing compelling images that tell a story, enhance brand identity, and engage audiences. Your passion for photography and visual storytelling will help us deliver outstanding visual content that resonates with our readers. Duties It is very simple. We need a photographer for our photoshoots in Louisville, starting this Fall. The photographer will take 12-18 shots of each athlete (taking about 1 minute with each athlete), different poses - some serious, some fun/candid. The photoshoot can range from 40-120 athletes, tiered to arrive at different times during the photoshoot (to prevent over-crowding), and take up to 5 hours. After the photoshoot concludes, the photographer just needs to upload all the pics using WeTransfer. Requirements Proven experience as a professional photographer. Knowledge of photography lighting equipment and techniques is required. Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles to craft compelling narratives through images. Excellent client communication skills to interpret project requirements clearly and deliver exceptional results Ability to adapt quickly to different shooting environments while maintaining high standards of quality A proactive attitude with the flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously PrepNation is looking for 1 solid photographer to be with us for 10 months (the school year) or longer.

Compensation:

Pay is provided as 50% before the shoot and 50% after the school concludes (once we receive the pics and have them verified).
