photographer/graphic artist/writer, and offers an exciting opportunity to craft and create custom Dog Portraits for our customers on a daily basis printed in house. The position will also require engaging visual and written content across various media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to seamlessly blend photography, graphic design, and writing to elevate our brand presence. It also requires writing daily report cards for our boarding guests. This is a VERY busy and fast paced environment and requires someone with existing knowledge of different softwares, who is an expert in the field not a beginner. This position is perfect for someone eager to showcase their artistic talents while contributing to innovative projects that inspire and engage our existing and new audiences. Responsibilities Capture high-quality photographs using professional photography lighting if needed, equipment and advanced camera gear, ensuring optimal shot composition and lighting techniques. Edit and manipulate images with industry-standard software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, and perform color management to achieve consistent visual aesthetics. Produce engaging video content through filming, post-production editing with Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, and incorporate storytelling elements that resonate with target audiences. Manage social media channels by creating compelling visual content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers to grow brand awareness. Collaborate with company directors to develop creative concepts, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand identity. Write clear, engaging copy for various platforms including blogs, social media posts, and marketing materials that complement visual content. Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects; familiarity with Capture One and Final Cut Pro is a plus. Strong understanding of color theory, image processing techniques, and photo editing workflows to produce polished visuals. Experience in videography, filming techniques, video production workflows, and post-production editing. Knowledge of aerial videography flight operations and commercial drone operation regulations. Expertise in photography lighting equipment setup, shot composition, and photography gear management. Ability to tell compelling stories through visual content combined with effective writing skills rooted in journalism or creative writing. Excellent client communication skills to understand project needs and deliver results that exceed expectations. Skills in social media management strategies to enhance audience engagement and brand visibility across digital platforms. Show a portfolio of past work and credentials.
