Job DescriptionIn this hands-on role, you will:



Assist in the management, maintenance, and use of film and new media equipmentThis position serves the film program, the new media program, and the graphic design program. You will respond to the needs of faculty and students in all programs and follow a consistent protocol for equipment useChecking out and checking in of film, new media, and design equipmentEnsuring proper use and care of the equipment during class and out of class (as requested)Monitoring the editing suitesProviding technical assistance to those using the equipment when possibleWorking on special projects.



QualificationsEnrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligibleHave a working knowledge of film cameras, video cameras, DSLR cameras, audio equipment, lighting gear, computers, and the Premiere Pro software packageHighly responsible, detail driven, and self-motivatedExcellent troubleshooting skillsAbility to follow established protocolAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work independentlySome evenings and weekend hours are expectedAdditional InformationAll student applicants must attach the following for consideration: ResumeCover Letter (optional)Augsburg University is an Equal Opportunity employer.
