Photography Studio Associate & Photo Assistant Charlotte, NC | $12.00-$20.00 per hour | Priscilla Green Photography (PGP) is a boutique portrait studio specializing in maternity, newborn, and children's photography . We create timeless, artistic portraits for families and are looking for a creative, detail-oriented team member to join us and grow with the studio. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with babies, children, and families, has a passion for visual storytelling, and wants to gain experience in both the artistic and business side of a professional photography studio. ✨

What You'll Do:

Client Care & Studio Admin Respond to emails and client inquiries with warmth and professionalism. Manage scheduling, contracts, and invoices. Support client experience from booking to final delivery. Assist with sales and booking sessions. Studio & Session Support Help set up and break down backdrops and props. Assist during photo sessions, including newborn handling (training provided). professional giggler - helping being fun in the studio to help kids laugh & adults Create and style setups with an artistic eye for detail, color, and composition. Keep the studio organized and clean. Photography & Editing Assistance Upload and organize RAW files (CF cards). Cull, edit, and retouch images in Photoshop (skin, color correction, object removal). Upload and finalize galleries for clients. Assist with additional visual/digital needs. Social Media & Marketing Capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during sessions. Post and manage Instagram (posts, reels, stories, responding to community). Stay current with social media trends and strategy. ✨

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Trustworthy, friendly, and professional. Creative with an eye for artistry and detail. Organized, dependable, and proactive. A fast learner who adapts well and takes constructive feedback. Comfortable working with babies and children (patience is a must!). Flexible with scheduling - sessions are typically Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with hours ranging 5-15 hours per week depending on studio needs. ✨

Requirements:

Must be able to work in person at our Charlotte studio (28270). Must be up to date on all vaccinations (including COVID). Basic Photoshop editing and retouching skills. Strong interest in photography, art, or design (previous studio experience is a plus but not required).
