The Photo Artist is a key member of the Creative Services team responsible for creating high-quality product photography and visual content across the Lionel Brands Group portfolio. This position photographs products, packaging, prototypes, reference materials, lifestyle imagery, and other brand assets for use across e-commerce, packaging, catalogs, advertising, social media, public relations, and other marketing channels. The Photo Artist manages projects throughout the photographic production process; from planning and studio setup through lighting, capture, image selection, retouching, color correction, and delivery of final production ready assets. The ideal candidate combines strong technical photography skills with creative judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage a high volume of projects across multiple brands
Responsibilities:
Photograph products, packaging, prototypes, and reference materials in a studio or location setting. Set up and adjust studio lighting, backgrounds, and equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality photography. Stage and compose products and packaging to accurately represent product details, materials, finishes, and brand identity. Edit, retouch, color-correct, and prepare final photography for print, e-commerce, catalogs, marketing, and other digital applications. Maintain consistent photographic quality, lighting, composition, and color across products and brands. Organize, name, archive, and deliver final photography according to established Creative Services workflows. Maintain photography equipment, studio areas, backgrounds, props, and related materials. Collaborate with Creative Services and other departments to understand project objectives, shot requirements, and creative direction. Balance photographic quality with production efficiency while managing multiple products, projects, and deadlines. Research photographic techniques, visual styles, and emerging technologies that can improve creative quality and production efficiency.
Skills/Qualifications:
1+ year of professional studio photography experience. Working knowledge of professional studio photography equipment and lighting techniques. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce photography consistent with established creative, brand, and product requirements. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a creative team. Flexible and able to adapt to changing direction, priorities, and project requirements. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Must have compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of relevant creative projects & designs
Pay:
$24.49 - $29.49 per hour
