We need someone to measure and seal. Dayton Sealcoating has driveways coming in and nobody free to service them. If you already seal driveways and you have capacity left before the season closes, this is straightforward extra money on jobs that are already asking for a quote.

YOU SELL AND INSTALL. WE DO THE REST.

We have customers requesting quotes. You go out, measure, and sell the job at our pricing. Then you install the seal. The advertising, the administration, the invoicing and the materials are ours. You are paid $125 per job minimum, or $0.17 per square foot, whichever is greater. After your first two jobs come back clean, that goes to $0.18 a square foot and stays there. You sold it, so you also get 5% of the job total. Paid every Friday for the jobs you finished that week.

WHAT THAT ACTUALLY PAYS A

two-car drive around 800 square feet pays $136. A 1,500 foot drive pays $255. A 2,000 foot drive pays $340, and a 2,500 foot drive pays $425. Those are the starting numbers. From your third job they go up again, and any job you sell yourself pays a further 5% on top.

HOW YOU WORK

You decide how you do the job and when you start. Every job and every measure visit is offered, and you can turn any of them down with no effect on the next one. Not exclusive, so keep your own customers and work for whoever else you want. Two photos per job, one before and one after. That is the only paperwork.

WHAT YOU NEED

Your own tools: squeegees, brushes, blower, edging gear, safety equipment. Your own transport. Real sealcoating experience, meaning you know when a driveway is ready and when it should not be sealed at all, because we are not set up to teach it from scratch. We also recommend carrying general liability insurance. You are running your own business, and that is the cover between you and a bad afternoon on a driveway.

BEING STRAIGHT WITH YOU

We are new in Dayton and the jobs come from our own advertising, so how much work there is depends on how fast that builds. A measure visit that does not turn into a job is not separately paid. If you need guaranteed hours every week, this is not that. If you already run your own outfit and want jobs handed to you with no marketing spend, it is a good fit.
