Overview We are seeking a creative, reliable photographer who enjoys working with newborns and connecting with new families. This role takes place inside a hospital maternity unit, where you will photograph newborns and offer families the opportunity to purchase professional images of their baby's first days. This position is ideal for someone who is personable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a commission-based sales environment. What You'll Do Visit hospital maternity rooms to introduce photography services to new parents Safely pose and photograph newborn babies (training provided) Create beautiful portraits using natural light and minimal props Show photo previews to families and assist them with purchasing image packages Manage basic editing, file uploads, and order processing Maintain a respectful, professional presence in a hospital environment What Makes Someone Successful in This Role Friendly and comfortable approaching and speaking with new families Confident in a sales environment and motivated by commission-based earnings Creative eye for photography and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage your schedule Calm, patient demeanor with newborns Requirements Photography experience (professional or serious hobbyist) Reliable transportation Ability to pass hospital background checks and health clearances Strong interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer skills for uploading and managing images Compensation Commission-based pay with strong earning potential Flexible schedule Photography and newborn posing training provided This role is a great fit for someone who: Loves photography and working with babies Enjoys connecting with people and creating meaningful moments Thrives when income is tied to personal effort and performance
