Join Our Seasonal School Photography Team! Dorian Studio has been capturing memories that last a lifetime since 1914. As a family-owned business, we value both our customers and our team. If you have a background in hospitality or customer service, enjoy working with children, and thrive in a high-energy, people-focused environment, this could be the perfect fit. Must be able to report to our Portland studio and travel to school sites across the greater Portland metropolitan area. Our fall season runs from August through approximatelyNovember Mandatory Training Dates:
Must be availableWhat You'll Do:
Transport and set up photography and computer equipment at school sites Greet students and school staff in a warm, professional manner Photograph students and staff following Dorian's trained procedures Complete accurate end-of-day paperwork Maintain professionalism and represent Dorian with pride Collaborate with the larger Dorian team through training, communication, and support—even while working solo on site Any duties deemed necessary by managementWhat We're Looking For:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Friendly, outgoing, and people-oriented with a team mindset Strong customer service background (hospitality, barista, retail, etc.) Comfortable working with children of all ages and abilities Reliable, insured personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and must meet company driving record requirements •must have a valid license. Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check in accordance with company policy Punctual, responsible, and self-motivated Physical Requirement This is a field position; applicants will be expected to be active, moving, and on their feet for long periods throughout the day Able to lift and operate equipment (up to 40 lbs)Sensory & Cognitive:
depth perception, hearing, speaking, and the ability to focus on repetitive tasks required Able to work in loud, fast-paced environments Occasionally work in outdoor environments and weather conditions for outdoor photography, unloading equipment, and transporting to photography shoot locations.Bonus Points For:
1+ year background in education, child care, or coaching 1+ year of customer-facing experience Spanish-speaking abilities Why Dorian?
