DIT / assistant editor needed for the 15-day shoot of CRACK, a feature-length psychological horror film for the Screamify streaming platform, October 5-19, 2026. The shoot is based in Lyle, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge, about 90 minutes east of Portland. Cast and crew work out of a single hub location. We need someone obsessive about data. Cards come to you and nothing is ever lost. That is the whole job in one sentence.

Day to day:

• Card capture and offload. Verified copies, redundant backups, and a folder structure that makes sense to somebody who isn't you.
• Syncing audio to picture in the field.
• Building a string-out as we go, so nobody is starting from zero in post.
• Playback on set when the director or the DP asks for it.
• Dailies ready for the producer and director.

One thing to be straight about up front. Card capture means you are the last person out at the end of the day, every day. Everyone else wraps and you are still offloading. If that is going to wear on you by day four, this isn't the right job, and we would rather hear it now than on the 9th. Rate is $300 a day for the full 15 days.
