STUDIO ASSISTANT
Client Experience Photography Creative Marketing Part-Time | Newport & Providence If you love people, enjoy creative work, and hate sitting at a desk all day, this might be the job for you. Every day is different. You might be helping with a photoshoot, filming Instagram Reels, organizing our studio wardrobe, importing images into Lightroom, or chatting with clients. You'll work alongside a professional photographer, learn how a busy photography studio operates, and play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every client. Studio Newport specializes in boudoir, beauty, and personal branding photography. Applicants must be comfortable working around clients in various stages of undress in a professional, respectful, and body-positive environment.
Everyday is different:
Prepare studio before/after sessions Welcome clients and help them settle in. Assist during photoshoots. Capture behind-the-scenes videos. Import images into Lightroom Assist with client image selection Help with social media and marketing Reset the studio for the next client Availability Approximately 10 hours per week to start, with opportunities for additional hours. Must be available at least one weekday (Monday-Thursday) from 9:30 AM-3:30 PM. We strongly prefer applicants who can work at both our Newport and Providence studios. Occasional Saturday hours may be available based on the studio schedule. Skills That Will Help You Succeed Comfortable using Mac computers and learning new software quickly. An interest in photography is a big plus! Experience with photography, photo editing, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar creative software is even better — but not required. We're happy to teach the right person. Friendly and confident on the phone and in person. Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable with social media, including Instagram, Facebook, and creating behind-the-scenes content or Reels. Able to juggle multiple tasks while staying calm and organized. Comfortable being on your feet, moving furniture, organizing wardrobe, and helping with studio setup.
