POSITION SUMMARY
Provide video production predominately for the Rhode Island football and basketball programs, but to include all 19 intercollegiate athletics teams when applicable and assigned. Collaborate with marketing and athletic communication departments to ensure a level of synergy while producing videos and graphics for social media, recruiting, content for athletics production and marketing (video boards, promotional/hype videos, team entrances, special events and commercials).
Duties and Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help develop, implement, and manage the Athletic Department's digital brand, ensuring all digital elements have a consistent look and feel, from visual imagery to content tone and cadence. Coordinate, design, implement and execute photo shoots for all sports. Support the marketing, ticket sales and fan engagement strategies for the football and basketball programs through concept, design, and production of traditional, digital, and video graphic materials. Utilize official social media outlets to engage fans by delivering entertaining and informative content. Manage the athletic departments' content sharing partnerships. Recruit, train, and oversee a group of video/photography interns. Cultivate relationships with campus partners including the Harrington School of Communication and Media and College of Arts and Sciences.
